About the event
We have a day packed with music and activities for our 6th Anniversary Celebration on May 25th from 12 to 9 PM. The live music lineup is as follows:
12-2 PM, Hanna von B
Born and raised in metro Detroit, Hanna has been playing music for as long as she can remember. She studied Biology at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and in addition to playing music, she has a passion for teaching marine biology, sailing, and snow sports. Hanna finds inspiration in the vocals of Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, and Amy Winehouse. However, she also loves playing music by classic & folk-country artists such as Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, and Zach Bryan. Her style delivers a cross between blues, folk, and Americana. You'll almost always find her performing with her warm & "woody" Martin. Behind the scenes, you can also find her claw-hammering the banjo, humming into harmonicas, and messing around with looping pedals - elements she looks forward to incorporating into live shows in the future!
3-5 PM, Rolling Dirty
Since its conception in 2021, this Swamp Rock "family" band has been entertaining and shocking audiences with its unique brand of music, humor, and stage performance. The husband-and-wife team and their "adopted" children will musically and visually keep you wanting more!
2023 has been the best and busiest year yet, with regularly scheduled shows and an album in the works! Rolling Dirty looks forward to performing at multiple festivals and musical venues in 2024 in Michigan and surrounding states.
6-9 PM, North End Drifters
Join us in welcoming locals and Cellar 1914 regulars Jim Troester, Dave Brayton, Ken Shepley, Ralph Ralston, and Gary Bowling! They rocked the barn last year at our Anniversary Party. You all begged for them to come back, and they listened! Several of them play in different bands across Michigan and have come together to make this unique up-north group you won’t hear anywhere else! It’s Michigan talent at its finest! Let’s wrap up our 6th Anniversary by rocking the barn again with North End Drifters!
